About Landgirls

Landgirls is a community-led initiative that helps bring people together through thoughtfully curated walks and experiences. Inspired by the spirit of the Women's Land Army, we aim to rediscover a love of the land while creating authentic, welcoming gatherings.

What began as a handful of gentle, free-to-attend walks has grown into a series of seasonal experiences. Each is designed to nurture connection to nature, place, and to one another - while celebrating curiosity, reflection, and the simple joys of being outdoors.

Why Landgirls Began

Landgirls began as a simple idea: to create a space where women can connect, away from work, motherhood, or the usual routines. Many who join us have moved from larger cities, looking for a way to meet people, share stories, and feel part of a community.

Our walks are immersive and unhurried. They give you permission to step outside, breathe, and leave everyday worries behind. We focus on gentle experiences that nurture wellbeing, spark curiosity, and offer a space for reflection.

Landgirls promotes affordable learning and personal growth, supporting women to explore, create, and discover. Each gathering is designed to be welcoming, safe, and thoughtful.

Step outside, walk with us, and find a little space to pause, notice, and belong.

Meet Amy

Trained in Art & Design to BA (Hons) level, I have gone on to work alongside industry-leading designers and creatives, exploring how creative ideas and stories take shape and make an impact.

Since relocating from London to Bath, I have focused on creating projects that nurture thoughtful collaboration. My day-to-day work helps people and teams communicate their expertise with clarity, whether through content, brand direction, or creative strategy.

I am fascinated by people, heritage and the natural world, finding inspiration in overlooked paths, seasonal rhythms, and the lore of the land.

For me, every project is an invitation: to stay connected, notice, and shape ideas that feel considered and thought-provoking.

  • Thoughtfully designed walks uncover overlooked paths and quiet corners around Bath.

  • Landgirls creates seasonal gatherings that celebrate the rhythms of nature. Workshops and experiences are designed to reconnect people with the land, explore local stories, and inspire curiosity.

Through these thoughtfully paced events, participants are invited to learn, share, and feel a sense of belonging within a welcoming, community-focused space.

  • Tailored retreats combine walking, learning, and creative exploration in carefully chosen landscapes. These intimate experiences leaving participants refreshed, inspired, and grounded.

  • Landgirls collaborates with local businesses, creatives, educators, and charities to bring projects to life. These partnerships strengthen community ties, share stories, and amplify initiatives that align with our values.

What I Do Best

Three photographs of outdoor scenes with groups of young people. The first shows two women walking in a grassy field at sunset, with more people in the distance. The second is a black-and-white photo of two women with backpacks walking on a trail with a dog, taken from behind. The third depicts a group of young women sitting on the grass during sunset, with some dogs nearby and scenic hills in the background.

Help us grow

To keep our walks accessible and help them grow, we warmly welcome donations. Your support helps cover simple costs, develop new gatherings, and invite local voices to share knowledge, stories and skills along the way. If you’ve found joy in these walks, or believe in what we’re building, a small contribution helps keep the paths open for many more to come.
